Stairway to the Stars

Summer is quickly coming to an end. Our August has been busy, so a trip to the cabin helped slow things down a bit. We had a nice family visit to Pine Crest, California for four days. Grammy and Grampa have a beautiful cabin on a gorgeous lake, so peaceful. Needless to say Nolan had an unforgettable time driving the boat, hiking, kayaking with mom, dad and the grandparents, and eating yummy bbq for dinner. Mila was a trooper even though we think the elevation did a number to her tummy..but she was sitting pretty in the sun and enjoying Grampa's lap.

Our dear friends Aunt Beena (Gina), Uncle Diddy (Patrick) and baby Jackaroo from Sacramento came to enjoy the beauty of Pine Crest. Em was able to be there for the birth of baby Jack on June 30th, but Ryan and kids had their first encounter. It was so nice to catch up and enjoy a glass of vino on the boat to watch the sunset.
