Well, it has been about a month since I have posted some pictures of our growing little ones. I blink and Anya is onto the next size in diapers, Mila's jeans are getting shorter, and Nolan's shoe size is already a 12. The past couple of months have been interesting as we have attempted some type of schedule with the children.
Nolan eagerly attends school every day (literally jumps out of bed and asks "am I going to school today"), and enjoying himself tremendously. He comes home singing songs in spanish, and his homework assignments have been completed without our help. His reading skills are quite amazing just in the past two months, and he has met some special new friends at school. Nolan has also become a little soccer player on the field, he is playing on a local league for 5/6 year olds and doing quit well, not sure if he likes sitting on the side lines and bing silly with his buddies or listening to us cheer him on as he heads toward a goal with the ball. Mila has been a supportive sister attending all of his games.
Mila is enjoying her play school. Today is a perfect example of how much..."mommy i had a good day today, it was fun". I mean how precious is that. She is enjoying her new found classmates, and even remembering a name or two. She seems to mention Holly quite a bit, so I might have to reach out and arrange a play date. On the days that Mila does not have school, she stays home with me and helps me care for Anya. It's truly amazing to see how loving and knowing she with baby. If baby spits up she runs to the nursery to fetch a burp cloth and wipes Anya's mouth. If I am in the laundry room and Anya is crying she runs into her room to pop the pacifier in her mouth, she then announces that "baby all better now mommy, I helped her". She loves to feed her and is starting to show interest in her own dolls.....which is HUGE, because she favors spiderman and batman still. Mila has asked me for a work bench for xmas....oh boy....Mila did attend her first princess party, and boy are we in for it....she would like to have Cinderella come to her b-day, even though she doesn't know who that is and just saw a lady dressed up as Cinderella....hilarious
Anya is a wonderful baby. We are so blessed. She is a great sleeper (no complaints from me at all), however likes to be awake during the day....she is smiling, talking her own little language, and starting to giggle if I tickler her tummy. We cannot get enough of her.
Babcia Ewa came out to visit us about two weeks ago and couldn't believe the changes in the kids...it has been three months since she was last here. The kids had a hoot playing games, painting and visiting the pumpkin patch.
We are all well, had a bit of the flu last week, but are getting ready for Halloween and dressing the kids up and watching the trees change colors. Oregon is amazing in the fall.
Hope everyone is healthy and well...
