Nolan started T-ball this year. It is probably one of the most adorable things I have ever seen. A bunch of 5 & 6 year old girls and boys running as fast as they possibly can to tackle the baseball. It almost looks like a rugby match. Nolan is super excited to dress in baseball gear and to get up to bat. He is the only lefty on the team, and has proven his baseball abilities by winning the ball throwing contest. Nolan has won a couple of weeks in a row, so we are hoping this means MLB future.
Meanwhile Anya is growing, just had her 9 month appointment, and looking oh so much like Nolan as a baby. I need to pull out some photos to compare to, it is unreal how much they look alike. Anya started crawling two weeks ago, and has gone from crawling to standing and pulling herself up. It's fascinating how quickly this all happens. She is so confident with her standing. She also started interacting with Mila and Nolan more. She has some fun loud expressions that are priceless. She is a happy girl, never cries unless she is sick. Sleeps well, and eats pretty much anything. Although she did learn how to buzz her lips and spit out our food.
Mila is a wonderful big sister and loves her little sister and big brother. Mila has gymnastics every Wednesday and after each lesson I buy here a little treat. So this week Mila asked me to leave the treat in the bag and would not let me open it until Nolan got home from school, because she wanted me to cut the cookie in half and place it in a special place so she could share it with Nolan. To cute! I honestly cannot believe she waited from the AM to the PM to show Nolan her treat and to share it with him. I cannot get enough of this sweet behavior...maybe it will last forever.
