This month Nolan turned 5. We celebrated a little early just incase I went into labor early....but that didn't happen. Wishful thinking ;-). Nolan chose to celebrate his 5th birthday with his closest male friends, which turned out to be alot of fun. The old school games seemed to work the best, super hero tug-a-war, duck duck goose (we need to think of another name for that), hide-and-seek, water balloon toss, and the ever so fun bouncy house which we borrowed from Ryan's work. That might not happen again, it was so heavy and it took three + people to bring in and take out of our backyard. The day was nice, the kids seemed to have a good time, as you will see from the photos. Nolan woke up early the day of his birthday party and asked pretty much every 10 minutes if he could wait by the window for his friends even though the party did not start until 3:30 PM. A couple days later Grandma and Grandpa arrived for another BBQ to celebrate with friends, as did Grandpa Peter who came from a long trip to Europe.
Mila was eager to participate with the boys...and as usual did her best impression of being a super hero. She was such a trooper.
