We were fortunate enough to take a quick trip with some friends near Bend this past weekend. The drive there looked like Tahoe and then all of a sudden you land and it's desert. The weather was perfect and the location where we stayed had some killer views. The kids and adults (as much as we could with 6 kids anyway) played around and enjoyed the break from the overcast mornings we have been having. We ventured into Sister's for some yummy sandwiches and ice cream, and reminded ourselves of how fun our kids are on a road trip. Are we almost there, how much longer, when are we going to be there, I have counted to 100, 3 xs mom, where are we now, occasional crying, screaming.......ha
